Founder of My Friend's a Nurse, Colette is an experienced labor & delivery nurse in Southern California. She decided to expand her nursing skills beyond the unit and fill the gaps in care between doctors, midwives, nurses, doulas and mothers. Including partners and families, she is a community resource, building a registry in Ventura and Los Angeles County, an educational platform for new parents, and coaching them to lead and communicate effectively to achieve the birth of their dreams. As she continues to assist at the bedside, she is working in nurse committees and with admin to investigate and improve the birthing system from the inside.
